Miss South Africa has unveiled the top 10 women who will be vying for the title. Four women from Gauteng made the cut.

Kgothatso Dithebe, Cheneil Hartzenberg, Moratwe Masima, and Tiffany Francis will be representing the province at the final ceremony in October.

“I aim to be representation for our young women and men facing adversity. In an environment that requires conformity, I want to urge South Africans to transform,” said Tiffany.

Commercial pilot Cheneil wants to spread a message of hope to those who need it.

“I want to use this platform to create a positive change for the future leaders of South Africa. “

Moratwe, who is a medical doctor, thanked everyone who voted for her.

“Before I walked out on stage today I had tears in my eyes. In so many ways, I never imagined myself in this position. But here I am, officially Top 10,” Moratwe wrote on Instagram.

Kgothatso couldn’t contain her excitement.

“I am truly grateful to be given this opportunity once again. I came back because I am resilient and I believe in second chances. Failure to me means trying again and this time with experience. I want women to know that they are strong, worthy, and capable of anything they put their minds to,” she said.

The top 10 were announced on Tuesday.

Former winners, Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala (2010), Liesl Laurie (2015), Melinda Bam (2011), and Tamaryn Green (2018), chose the women.

The Eastern Cape’s Zimi Mabunzi won the public vote.

Miss South Africa 2021 will be crowned at the Grand West Arena in Cape Town on Saturday, October 16.

Here’s a look at the top 10.
