Fresh allegations in the R.Kelly trial were filed on Friday, which left many horrified at the latest claims that the singer allegedly sexually abused a teenage boy.

Prosecutors claim the young man has spoken out about how he met Kelly at a McDonald’s in 2006 when he was 17, and was then invited to the singer’s Chicago studio. The boy who is said to have been underage at the time of the meeting was an aspiring musician whom Kelly offered to help.

Evidence of this latest allegation will be presented to the court in August along with more than a dozen other people who accuse Kelly of abuse, mistreatment and sexual misconduct.

According to prosecutors, the boy then introduced Kelly to a male friend with who the singer allegedly had a sexual relationship with a few years later. The allegations include Kelly forcing several of the singers female sexual partners to have sex with the young boy while he filmed.

R.Kelly has denied all the allegations and has been in jail for the past two years as he awaits trial for charges including child sexual exploitation, making indecent images of minors, racketeering and obstruction of justice.

The charges involve six unnamed women and girls.

His trial will commence on 9 August in New York.
