Difficult few weeks for the Fergusons

News of Shona’s hospital admission comes a few weeks after his wife, Connie Ferguson, lost her brother, Moses Masilo.

‘The Queen’ actress remembered her brother in an emotional post she shared on Instagram.

“Budas, I thank God that I was able to spend some time with you on Pops’ birthday. After so many years! I believe this was God’s’ way of giving us the opportunity to say goodbye, to build final memories together, and to celebrate life one final time together,” she wrote.

Connie said she will treasure their memories together.

“I love you big bro. I will never forget you. I’m sorry your last moments on this earth were so painful and uncomfortable! Rest now. God has taken that pain away. You join the angels that advocate for us daily on the other side. Give my love to Moms. She’s waiting to welcome you with open arms!”

Connie also took to Instagram on Sunday to remember her mother, Margaret Masilo. She passed away eight years ago.

“Today, 8 years ago, you departed this earth. In that moment, I just did not know how we were going to cope or survive without you, the glue that held everything together….  I trust you were there to welcome your firstborn son Moses Kingdom Masilo with open arms. He has joined our army of angels, and it comforts me to know he’s reunited with you. Not a day goes by without me thinking about you.”
